The code on the box ensures your sample is matched to the right person. You register the code by following the step on the instruction card.

Take your cheek swab
Place the swab inside your cheek for the specified time. No needles, no blood, no pain.

Send your sample to the laboratory
Ship the tube using the sample return package. The sample remains stable at room temperature for 7 days.

Your sample is genotyped with an mPCR-augmented Axiom microarray at a licensed genetic diagnostic laboratory.

If the sample is insufficient
If a repeat sample is needed, a new kit is sent free of charge. The laboratory processing time restarts from when the new sample is accepted.
Frequently asked questions about the process
Start by choosing what you want to learn. A short guided quiz recommends 1–3 packages based on your interests. If you are still undecided, you can write to our expert support.
Adult packages are designed for adults, and kids' packages are designed for children. Kids' packages require parental consent.
Kids' packages provide supportive information about sports tendencies, recovery, injury predisposition, nutrition, and focus and learning tendencies. They do not predict talent or success.
A cheek swab is taken from the inside of your cheek using the swab in the kit. It is done at home and takes about 5 minutes.
No. There is no blood draw and no needle; only a cell sample is taken from the inside of your cheek.
The kit is delivered to your address within 2 business days after your order is confirmed; shipping is covered by Hub Genetik. You send your sample to the laboratory using the sample return package included in the kit; return shipping is also covered by Hub Genetik. The sample remains stable at room temperature for 7 days.
Once your sample reaches the laboratory, your digital report is prepared within 18–21 business days.
When your report is ready, you are notified by email and the report is sent to you as a PDF. A technical summary you can share with your physician is provided separately, depending on your package.
Yes. You can request your raw data file by writing to info@hubgenetik.com. Raw data is uninterpreted genotype information; on its own, it does not constitute a health or performance result.
Findings go through a scientific evaluation process, and expert commentary is added. A post-report consultation session is offered depending on your package.
A predisposition indicates that a certain trait or response may be more likely than average. It is not a definitive result and should be considered together with lifestyle and clinical data.
No. The reports do not replace a medical diagnosis. For clinical decisions, please consult your physician.
Your DNA sequence does not change; however, the interpretation of findings may be updated as the scientific literature evolves. When new variant findings emerge, a new evaluation can be made from your existing data.
Yes. A finding that may be clinically significant should be confirmed with a verification test performed on a new sample at an independent laboratory. You can request your raw data file; however, reinterpreting raw data elsewhere does not replace this verification.
Data is stored in encrypted systems in compliance with KVKK (Turkey's Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698) and is not shared with third parties.
Access is limited to authorized personnel involved in the process, and access logs are kept.
Yes. You can request deletion of your personal and genetic data via info@hubgenetik.com. Your deletion request is fulfilled within 30 days of the date it reaches us. If there are records that must be retained by law, their scope is explained separately.
Payment is accepted by credit or debit card as a single payment. Installments are not available.
Hub Genetik does not offer a voluntary or unconditional refund guarantee. Your rights as a consumer under applicable law, including the right of withdrawal and rights relating to defective services, are reserved. Details are on the Delivery and Return Terms and Distance Sales Agreement pages.
